To Whom It May Concern:

During the 1994-95 school year I was employed by the Chandler Schools to serve as a consultant during the construction of a new running track.  The low bidder on the project was ATG Sports out of Wichita, KS, managed by Paul Driver.  During the initial bid phase I was not familiar with ATG and therefore called a number of their references.  In all cases the clients were pleased with the work done by ATG.  When the bids were opened the dollar amount from ATG was substantially lower than all of the other vendors and again I had some concerns about the company and its background.  The school district personnel and myself asked a number of hard questions about the history and financial stability of ATG Sports and became convinced that they could produce the product as called for in the specifications.

During the construction phase Mr. Driver was present for all of the critical work and much of the non critical work.  He seemed to demand a great deal from his workers and was insistent on doing a quality job. When a mistake or a problem presented itself it was handled in a quick and professional manner with no excuses, just solutions.

The overall quality of the job was excellent and the project was brought in on time, both high priorities for myself and the school district.  The track in question was a polyurethane base mat with a polyurethane flood coat wearing course.  Mr. Driver also brought on site his material supplier, Dennis Boone from Futura Chemicals.  I felt that this was a positive reflection on the entire project.

I have no problem in recommending ATG Sports and Paul Driver for any future jobs of this type assuming that the factors were present in 1994-1995 remain consistent.
