To Whom It May Concern:

I wanted to mention to you that the selection was made to use A.T.G. Sports Industries, Inc. for the sport surfacing work at the recently completed project mentioned above.  The project included a new 400 meter running track and miscellaneous field events.

The main reason for the selection was based on the performance characteristics of their product, which is a Joske SP poured in place polyurethane and rubber material.  This system allows for any moisture that penetrates into the surface material to free-drain from within.  Moisture does not build on the surface of the asphalt which will ultimately lead to a break in the bond of the track surface and the asphalt.

Other reasons for choosing A.T.G. Sports Industries, Inc. was a lower cost when compared to the other competitive bids and the sincere interest that was displayed regarding the success of the project.  It is for these reasons that I feel A.T.G> Sports Industries, Inc. would merit consideration for y our project.

I have enclosed a photograph of a portion of the Maplewood High School new running track and would urge you to visit the site at your convenience and make your own inspection of their work.
