Enhancing safety, performance, and pride at Fox High School’s baseball and softball field

ATG Sports has been awarded the project to upgrade the baseball/softball field at Fox High School, bringing important improvements that enhance safety, performance, and long-term durability for the Warriors baseball program.

The project includes the replacement of the existing synthetic turf, installation of new protective netting to prevent foul balls from entering the adjacent football field, and construction of a new backstop designed for improved visibility, strength, and player protection. These upgrades will modernize the facility while reducing maintenance demands for the district.

Fox C 6 School District leaders emphasized the importance of selecting a partner with proven experience in athletic facility improvements.

“The Fox C6 School District is excited to partner again with ATG Sports on these important enhancements to the FHS baseball/softball facility. We chose ATG because of their experience, industry-leading turf quality, and exceptional customer service. The entire Fox High community is excited for this project,” said Tracy Schmidt, COO, Fox C-6 School District.

ATG Sports has completed athletic facility projects across Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois, earning a reputation for predictable outcomes, tight installation tolerances, and high-performance surfaces engineered for safety. The company’s approach helps districts reduce risk, streamline procurement, and extend the lifespan of their sports facilities.

“Fox High School has a strong baseball and softball tradition, and we’re proud to support their athletes with a refreshed, safer, and more functional field,” said Joe Gianino, President of Sales, ATG Sports.

Construction is scheduled to complete the Summer of 2026, ahead of the upcoming seasonal play. Once finished, the upgraded field will support both competitive athletics and community use, reinforcing the district’s commitment to providing safe, modern sports facilities.
